This extremely simple infographic manages to take the very abstract notion of the ‘size’ of a piece of software and make it digestible to the average human brain. Not only does it capture the relative size difference between different pieces of software in its linear progression, but it also manages to help visualize the marginal difference in ‘size’ between different versions of the same software using the subtle semi-transparent grey arcs (their thickness proxies their magnitude). On top of all that, it’s flat design and restrained color palette look damn good!
